Connect Google Search Console

Connecting Search Console gives SEObox your site’s real search data. It powers the Analytics page, keyword rank tracking, and content-decay opportunities.

Start the connection

On your site’s page, click Connect on the Google Search Console card. You’ll find the same button in the Setup wizard’s Search Console step and the “Connect your site” dialog.

Approve access at Google

Sign in with a Google account that has access to the property in Search Console, and approve the request. You have 15 minutes to finish before the link expires.

Choose the property

Back in SEObox, choose which Search Console property to track — for example sc-domain:example.com or https://www.example.com/. The first sync starts straight away.

After connecting

Data syncs automatically every day at 06:00 UTC. To sync now, click Sync on the card.
Analytics shows your top 100 queries for the last 28 days.
To disconnect, click Disconnect on the card. This deletes SEObox’s stored access. To also revoke access on Google’s side, remove SEObox at myaccount.google.com/permissions .

Troubleshooting

You see	Fix
“No refresh token” after connecting	Remove SEObox at myaccount.google.com/permissions, then connect again.
The property isn’t in the list	The Google account you used isn’t a user on that property. Add it in Search Console under Settings → Users and permissions, or connect with a different account.
“Expired”	You took longer than 15 minutes at Google. Start again.
